I’m living in answered prayers.
Prayers that I spoke wholeheartedly,
prayers I sang out loud,
some I wrote on lined paper pages,
from a place of zeal and genuine surrender.
Passionate, youthful prayers of consecration written from a place of adoration.
Prayers of praise,
Prayers of lament,
Prayers of supplication,
begging God to refine me, consume me,
to kill whatever was left of me.
He has been faithful in the fire,
making Himself my only desire.
The presence of joy, peace, and hope
has multiplied even more than when I first said yes to Jesus,
but so has the resistance and the trials.
I’m living in prayer.
