Lord teach us how to surrender and follow you even when it’s hard…even when it hurts.
Teach us how to see pain through the lens of Calvary and not through our own humanity.
Teach us Lord to trust in what your word says in Romans 8:28.
That our trials, our present sufferings are not worth comparing to the glory that will be revealed in us through Christ Jesus.
Help us not only see and desire you as Jehovah Jireh, but also as the Man of Sorrows, and the Son of Suffering.
Jesus help us not to be so overwhelmed by our pain that we forget your presence.
Move us to overcome in faith, knowing that after crucifixion, there is always resurrection.
