My name is Agok Ayuen and I am South Sudanese by birth, an American by citizenship, but above all, a Daughter that is redeemed by God’s divine grace.
I was born in Kenya in a refugee camp, but came to the USA in 2004 (more on this later). My faith is in Jesus Christ and my desire is to proclaim the Gospel and reflect the glory of God in every sphere of my life. I am a life long student that has a seeking heart and a seeking mind. I never want to stop growing in wisdom, knowledge and understanding when it comes to things in life and the Word of God!
What is The SUDO Project:
The SUDO Project was born from my desire to capture the wandering thoughts that often crowded my mind, the poetic words that filled my heart, and the profound stories that left an indelible mark on my life. SUDO was an acronym I coined long ago, as a vow to my younger self to always SEEK TO UNDERSTAND (the word of God) and DREAM TO OVERCOME (the things of this world). It also reflects my native home country of SUDAN. In 2020 The SUDO Project started out as just a blog, but now it has become a place of refuge, rest and encouragement for all who are seeking to know Truth and walk according to THE TRUTH.
The Mission:
is to encourage, empower, and embrace individuals in the word of God by sharing faith filled stories and creating projects that help inspire people to live transformed lives.
